As a recent FISM World Magic Championships finalist, Oliver began performing magic at 12 years old, he discovered the Demon Magic Club a year later, a young magicians club who met every Saturday behind the oldest family run magic shop in the world, Davenports of London. He was accepted as a member of the club and was given the opportunity to mix with other keen young magicians who exchanged ideas and created new effects. Each year they put together a show at Christmas in London for the public and the Magic Circle. Here he received his first award for Excellence in Magic at the age of fifteen



A year later he started working at Davenports where for the next 5 years he honed his magic skills, demonstrating and improving to perfect his art. At 18 he was accepted as a member of the Magic Circle.
