Are you a magician or publicist?

Updated: 11 hours ago

Magic Seats is a website run by a magic enthusiast. The aim is to promote magicians positively to help them promote their shows and services. The site has been running for 4.5 years and has a following of fellow magicians and laypersons.

The site does not run adverts except for promoting its own material such as interviews and show reviews. Blog posts are then used to inform readers about shows, interviews and reviews which promotes artists while helping to bring traffic to the site.

If you would like to feature on this site and are interested in any of the following, please do get in touch:

Would like a show or a tour featured within the blog

Request we conduct a show review and/or interview

Feature in our A to Z of magicians

The site is self funded as a hobby and I attend shows regularly for pleasure and review. Should you like to request a specific review of your own show, I can consider dependant on availability and journey time. The aim being to prepare a constructive review of the show and highlight positives.

Interviews are normally conducted via correspondence and so take time to compile. I do research and prepare bespoke questions. I am not always able to commit to interviews and look for angles and subjects that are different and can offer variety to readers. Time is limited for interviews so I may not be able to commit immediately but may be able to help at a later date.

Please browse the site to check out reviews and interview examples. More recent work in particular is worth review as it demonstrates current blog posts that are published.

While the site attracts a regular audience, true post success is also reliant on the artist sharing the post link via social media. Artists who share the posts will often attract many hundreds more views than those who do not.
